About Teodora

Teodora Banu, a graduate of the Bachelor of Laws program at the Université de Montréal, has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 2024. During her studies at Cégep Jean-de-Brébeuf she founded the institution's only LGBT+ committee, and she later worked at the Université de Montréal's Legal Clinic to help make the law more accessible to the public. She began her career as a criminal lawyer, focusing primarily on defending the rights of Indigenous peoples in Quebec, and joined Henriquez Avocats in 2025. Her practice covers criminal law matters such as impaired driving and assault, family law matters including divorce and custody or support requests, and immigration law matters such as asylum claims, appeals, sponsorship, and work and study permits.
