About Lucy
Lucy Yuan was born in China and grew up in Sweden and northern Alberta before settling in Vancouver. She earned a Bachelor's degree at UBC in 2012, majoring in Chemistry with a minor in Scandinavian culture, then graduated with a J.D. from UBC in 2016 and articled with a firm specializing in administrative and disability law. Called to the bar in 2017, Lucy practised personal injury law at a Vancouver boutique litigation firm before joining Meridian Law Group in 2019, where she practises insurance litigation, commercial litigation, general civil litigation, and committeeship applications. She has represented clients at all levels of court in British Columbia as well as the Workers' Compensation Appeal Tribunal and Social Security Tribunal.
