About Shannon
Shannon MacNamara, who grew up in Whistler, began at Winright Law as an articling student in 2024 and was called to the bar the following year. She earned a Bachelor of Management with Honours from the University of British Columbia's Okanagan campus, making the Dean's Honour Roll, and spent time working in finance and human resources prior to attending law school. Shannon subsequently earned her Juris Doctor with distinction at the University of Alberta, competing in two national moot competitions and volunteering at the Edmonton Community Legal Centre along the way. Shannon's work spans both litigation and solicitor-side matters, concentrating on civil litigation, commercial disputes, estate planning, and wills.
