About Liza

Liza Volpiana has focused her practice exclusively on commercial real estate since the start of her career, advising on acquisitions, sales and financings of industrial, office, retail and residential properties, landlord and tenant leasing, and all stages of the development process from rezoning to occupancy. Recent work includes acting for large developers on multi-family projects in the Lower Mainland such as King George Hub in Surrey and The Oaks in Coquitlam, and serving as lead real estate counsel to a railway company and a local municipality. She holds a J.D. (UBC, 2012) and a B.Sc. (UBC, 2008), was admitted to the British Columbia bar in 2013, and is recognized as a Leading Lawyer Under 40 in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory.
