About Kai
Kai Sheffield advises public and private companies and private equity sponsors on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and other complex strategic transactions. He also advises clients on corporate governance and general corporate and securities law matters. Before joining Osler in 2017, Sheffield practised in the mergers and acquisitions group of a leading international law firm in New York. He earned his J.D. from the University of Toronto, graduating with honours, and holds a B.A. in International Relations from the University of British Columbia. Sheffield has been recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada as one to watch in securities law.
