About Lisa

Lisa Trader manages the Corporate Services Department at LaBarge Weinstein LLP, where she has worked since 2003. Much of her work involves guiding clients through mergers and acquisitions, but she also has broad experience helping start-ups incorporate and assisting private and public companies with corporate transactions and public offerings. She prepares documents for tax and corporate reorganizations, extra-provincial registrations across Canada, U.S. state filings, and the formation and upkeep of non-profit organizations. She holds a Law Clerk Diploma with honours from Seneca College and completed the Securities Law Fellowship Course through the Institute of Law Clerks. She is recognized as an ILCO Certified Expert in Corporate Law and belongs to the Ottawa Association of Law Clerks and the Canadian Association of Paralegals.
