About Lisa
Lisa Gelman founded Gelman & Associates in 2001 after having practiced family law since 1995. She holds a B.A. in political science from the University of Western Ontario and an LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School, and was called to the Ontario bar in 1995. Before settling into family law, she ran an ice cream shop and a travel company, and was recognized in PROFIT and Canadian Business's 2016 W100 list of Canada's Top Female Entrepreneurs. She founded a volunteer legal clinic run through New Circles, a Toronto community organization, and is professionally trained on issues of narcissism and narcissistic abuse. Lisa writes a biweekly column for the Toronto Star and has been named among Toronto's top lawyers by Post City and Streets of Toronto.
