About Lisa
Lisa Allegro is a partner at McCarthy Hansen & Company, advising clients on parenting disputes, support, property division, separation agreements, and marriage contracts. She began her legal career at a prominent Toronto firm practising intellectual property law and later gained further experience in a corporate setting. In 2020 Lisa shifted her focus to family law, bringing that broad background to her new practice, and she joined McCarthy Hansen in 2022. She was called to the bar in 2006 and holds a J.D. and M.B.A. from the University of Toronto, plus a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from U of T, where she graduated as Gold Medalist. Lisa was elected as a Member-at-large on the Ontario Bar Association's Family Section Executive for 2024/2025.
