About Elizabeth
Elizabeth Cinco is an associate at McCarthy Hansen & Company. She holds a J.D. from the University of Western Ontario and a B.A. from the University of Toronto, and she articled at the firm before her call to the bar in 2023. During law school she worked as a caseworker at Western's student legal aid clinic, Community Legal Services, where she assisted low-income clients and appeared before the Superior Court of Justice on a child protection matter. She also served as a research assistant to Professor Claire Houston on a major family law study of spousal support. Liz co-founded Western Law's Ipso Facto newspaper and was a staff editor for the Western Journal of Legal Studies, and she is a member of the Filipino Canadian Lawyers' Network.
