About Justin

Justin Kanji's corporate and commercial practice centers on restructuring, secured transactions, distressed acquisitions and divestitures, creditor and debtor rights enforcement, liquidations, and bankruptcy. He has represented debtor companies, purchasers, lenders, and court-appointed officers in complex national and cross-border insolvency matters. Before joining Osler, Kanji worked at the London, UK office of an international law firm, where he handled cross-border and domestic leveraged finance, restructuring, and private equity deals, along with contentious matters such as corporate investigations and white-collar crime. He is qualified with the Law Society of England & Wales, having earned an LL.B. (Hons.) from the University of Exeter and completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School. Kanji supports Kids in Need of Defense, the Family Law Clinic, and the Centre for Criminal Appeals.
