About Linda

With 30 years in practice, Linda O'Brien focuses exclusively on representing survivors of sexual abuse. She takes a trauma-informed approach to client care and has worked to hold institutions and individuals accountable through civil litigation and confidential settlements. Linda often collaborates with survivor advocacy groups and provides education on legal rights and options available to victims. She earned an Honours B.A. from the University of Guelph in 1991 and her LL.B. from the University of Windsor in 1994. She is a member of the Hamilton Law Association and The Advocates' Society, mentors second-year civil litigation students at Toronto Metropolitan University, and serves as Co-Chair of the Board of Directors of The Gatehouse.
