About Mohamed
Mohamed El Rashidy serves as external counsel at ASM Law, practising civil litigation, personal injury, criminal law, real estate and community advocacy. He has been involved in advocacy since 2001 and began working as a legal representative in 2004, handling trials and appeals in motor vehicle, real estate, small claims and summary criminal matters. Mohamed holds an Honours Bachelor's degree from the University of Toronto and a Juris Doctor from the University of Manitoba, and he summered and articled at a major Bay Street firm. He has appeared before Ontario's provincial and superior courts, the Court of Appeal, the Federal Court and its Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada. He is fluent in French, English and Arabic and has appeared for several years as an analyst on CBC's Power and Politics.
