Employment & Labour LawLevel Chan advises employers and pension and benefit plan sponsors and administrators across Atlantic Canada, including some of the region's largest plans. He counsels clients on plan governance, administration, investment management, and amendments to pension and employee benefits arrangements, as well as defending against claims under those plans. His experience extends to labour and employment matters, executive compensation, and pension litigation, including assisting a provincial government with Charter challenges to a shared risk pension plan. Chan also advises on executive employment agreements, incentive plans, and services agreements for clients in sectors ranging from ocean technology to health care. He has been active in law reform and diversity initiatives, including work with the Canadian Bar Association's pension and equality committees. He received his LLB from Dalhousie University in 2002 and a BA (honours) from Dalhousie in 1999.
