About Janice

Janice Beaton has advised and advocated for clients since 1989, primarily in family law, and has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in Canada in Family Law since 2018. She was appointed King's Counsel in 2010 and has served as Chair of the Supreme Court Family Liaison Committee and on the Professional Standards (Family) Committee of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society. She also advises executors and administrators through the probate and estate administration process and is trained in collaborative family law.
