About Leonard
Leonard Gilbert is a partner practicing in the firm's Toronto office. He earned his J.D. from the University of Toronto's Faculty of Law in 2015, and before law school he performed extensively as a concert pianist, studying at Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music where he received the Performer's Certificate and was named a Founder's Scholar. During law school, Leonard led the Tax Law Society, served on the executive of the Business Law Society and mentored fellow students. He has worked at the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada as a human rights case worker and, through Pro Bono Students Canada's Tax Advocacy Project, has appeared before the Tax Court of Canada. He is fluent in Cantonese.
