About Leena

Leena R. Yousefi is the CEO of YLaw and practices employment and family law as a lawyer and accredited mediator based in the firm's Vancouver office. She holds a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Victoria and is an accredited mediator through the Law Society of British Columbia. She has appeared before the BC Court of Appeal, BC Supreme Court, and BC Provincial Court, and has acted as counsel in cases involving child abduction, property division, spousal support, custody, and child support, as well as workplace harassment and discrimination matters. She sits on several legal community boards, including the Canadian Bar Association's Provincial Council and its North Shore executive board, and is a member of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia. She speaks English, Farsi, and Spanish.
