About Lauren

Lauren Hulme is a partner at Torys who focuses on private fund formation, investment structuring, and liquidity transactions. She advises fund managers and institutional investors on fundraising and investment activity, representing alternative asset managers in forming and managing private funds, plus fund restructurings. She also works with public pension plans, financial institutions, and funds-of-funds on private market investments, and acts for fund sponsors and investors on co-investment mandates and secondaries-space deals, including LP-led transactions and continuation funds. Her work touches on a range of fund strategies, spanning buyout and venture capital, infrastructure and real estate, as well as credit and hedge funds. In the community, she has held leadership roles with YWCA Toronto, including board member and secretary, and has served on committees for the Western Mustangs Athletic Alumni Board and YWCA Canada.
