About Francesca

Francesca Guolo advises clients on the negotiation and execution of complex transactions driven by strategic, economic, tax, or regulatory considerations. She led the Goodmans team representing the Pan-Canadian Third Party Asset-Backed Commercial Paper Investors Committee in restructuring Canada's roughly $32 billion non-bank asset-backed commercial paper market. Her clients include domestic and international financial institutions, broker-dealers, securities advisers, asset managers, mortgage lenders, financing companies, FinTech entrepreneurs, hedge funds, and investment funds, as well as government agencies and private family offices. Francesca advises on securitization transactions, including a global diamond inventory securitization and an online supply chain trade receivables program, and assists clients with derivative transactions and related regulatory compliance.
