About Laura

Laura leads MT+Co.'s Business Law Group in Victoria, advising entrepreneurs, private companies, family-owned businesses, professionals, and Indigenous organizations on business formation, corporate governance, and commercial contracts. Her practice includes tax-driven reorganizations, business succession planning, and mergers and acquisitions. She was called to the Alberta bar in 2014 and the BC bar in 2017, and holds a JD with Distinction from the University of Alberta. She has co-authored chapters on fisheries, parks, and wildlife law in an Irwin Law textbook and volunteers with Access Pro Bono.
