About Michael
Michael Innes is the National Chair of Osler's Corporate Group, which encompasses the firm's Capital Markets, Emerging and High Growth Companies, M&A and Private Equity practices. Michael has advised on debt and equity offerings, leveraged buyouts, plans of arrangement, take-over bids and the formation of private equity funds. Michael has also advised pension funds on their investment activities. Michael's cross-sector experience spans the electricity, telecommunications, media, automotive, real estate, energy and mining industries, among others. Michael has been ranked Band 1 by Chambers for capital markets and is recognized by several leading legal directories as a top capital markets and cross-border corporate lawyer in Canada.
