About Carl

Carl works with First Nation governments, Indigenous organizations, and businesses on corporate and commercial matters, including impact benefit agreements, exploration agreements, and equity financing. Before joining MT+Co., he spent over a decade in the Indigenous, northern, and energy practice group of a Toronto law firm, assisting First Nations in Ontario and a Regional Inuit Association in Nunavut with impact benefit agreements for the Hope Bay and Back River gold projects. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2004, the Nunavut bar in 2018, and the Northwest Territories bar in 2025.
