About Laura
Laura Brown is an associate whose family law work touches on marriage contracts, domestic agreements, parenting disagreements, and support and property matters, including more complex cases. She also brings experience in civil litigation involving estates, defamation, and administrative matters. She represents clients through negotiation, mediation, and arbitration, and litigates when a matter proceeds to court, having appeared before all levels of court in Ontario. During law school she summered at Parkdale Community Legal Services, and in 2025 she completed the Riverdale Mediation Program for Family Lawyers. She was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2020, earned her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2019, and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and Kinesiology from York University, where she graduated summa cum laude in 2015.
