About William
William E.C. Parker founded Parker & Company and resolves complex family and estate law disputes, also serving as a mediator and Ontario Family Law Arbitrator. He graduated from Queen's University Law School in Kingston, where he received the Charles R. Webster Scholarship for academic and athletic achievement, and was called to the Ontario bar in 1994 after a stint at a major Toronto firm. He has taught estates and family law in the Law Society's Bar Admission Course, trained in collaborative family law, and is a member of the Advocates' Society and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, having completed STEP's exam route in trusts, wills, and estate administration. He previously served as a panel lawyer for the Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee and has spoken for the CBA on life and estate planning topics. In 2018, he completed an intensive family law advocacy training program through the National Institute for Trial Advocacy in Boulder, Colorado.
