About Kyle

Kyle Dow is an associate lawyer at McIntyre Szabo PC, building a health litigation practice that covers professional regulation, mental health hearings and appeals, physician privileging, and human rights applications. Before joining the firm in 2024 he worked at Pape Salter Teillet, Bell Temple, and Gowling WLG, gaining broad experience in civil and administrative litigation touching construction, insurance, and product liability disputes. He represents and advises health care institutions, regulators, and regulated professionals, and has appeared before every level of court in Ontario as well as the Federal Court, the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board, the Consent and Capacity Board, and the WSIAT. He earned his JD from Dalhousie University in 2019 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2020. Kyle sits on the board of Geriatric Psychiatry Community Services of Ottawa and is active with The Advocates' Society.
