About Logan
Logan Crowell joined McIntyre Szabo PC as counsel in 2026 after 12 years in the health law group at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, where he worked with clients ranging from individual practitioners to major hospitals and government agencies. He advises hospitals, regulatory colleges, clinics, insurers, and practitioners on health privacy, including policy review, quality assurance, and breach prevention and response, and represents clients before professional and mental health tribunals such as the Consent and Capacity Board and the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board. He has appeared before all levels of Ontario courts and in writing before the Supreme Court of Canada, and served as counsel to a hospital in the first civil jury trial held after COVID-19. Logan earned his JD from Queen's University in 2012 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from York University in 2008, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2013. He teaches health law at the University of Windsor and has guest lectured at the University of Toronto.
