About Mark

Mark is the founding and managing partner, overseeing much of the firm's administration and guiding its junior associates. He earned a B.A. in history from York University before completing his LL.B. at Osgoode Hall Law School in 2003. He articled at a boutique commercial litigation firm in Toronto and, after his call to the bar, practised personal injury law briefly before moving to York Region in 2004 and expanding into family law. He is trained in Collaborative Family Law, a negotiation-based approach to resolving family disputes, and previously chaired the York Collaborative Practice. His practice today centers on civil litigation, with an emphasis on family law, real estate, and wills and estates. He opened the firm in Newmarket in 2005, and it has since grown into Mississauga, Richmond Hill, Barrie, and Oshawa.
