About Kristy

Kristy was born and raised in Manitouwadge and has called Thunder Bay home since 2008. She holds degrees in both social work and law, and before becoming a lawyer she worked in social work and child and family service roles, particularly with Indigenous communities and organizations. She is also a registered social worker. Her practice focuses on family law, child protection, and estate planning and administration, and she volunteers with the Faye Peterson Transition House, the Northwestern Ontario Women's Centre, Pro Bono Students Canada, and Braiding Diversity into Justice.
