About Nick

Nick focuses his practice on corporate, commercial and real estate law, and has acted for private and public entities in complex commercial transactions, including financing and real estate development. He's also an experienced litigator with court experience at the Superior Court and Divisional Court level, and has appeared before administrative tribunals including the Ontario Energy Board and the Ontario Mining and Lands Commissioner. Nick is a sessional lecturer at the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law at Lakehead University, teaching mining, forestry and energy law topics. Before law school, he worked as a social worker with the Province of Alberta and the Yukon Government. He holds a BSW from the University of Calgary (1997) and a BA in Criminology from the University of Windsor (1998). Nick joined Weilers as an articling student in 2003, was called to the bar in 2004, and became a partner in 2009.
