About Martha
Martha has practised family law in Thunder Bay for more than 30 years, handling cohabitation, marriage, separation agreements, divorce and court actions, with a particular focus on protecting children's rights in family court. She also practises real estate and wills and estates law, and serves clients in Ukrainian as well as English. Martha believes in involving clients in decision-making to make separation less destructive for everyone involved. She earned a BA from the University of Toronto (1982) and an LLB from the University of Ottawa (1985), was called to the bar in 1985 and joined Weilers in 2013. She is a past president and current board member of the Thunder Bay Law Association and its former family law section co-chair.
