About Krista
Krista Frohlich graduated from the University of Alberta Law School in 1997 and was called to the Alberta bar in 1998. She has practised exclusively in family law since then, helping clients with parenting, mobility, support and property division matters, and drafting settlement, cohabitation and prenuptial agreements. Frohlich is a trained mediator and is trained in collaborative law, and she's litigated at all levels of the Alberta courts when a negotiated settlement isn't possible. In 2022 she was appointed King's Counsel (formerly Queen's Counsel) in recognition of her contribution to the practice of law in Alberta. She has taught at the University of Alberta's Faculty of Human Ecology and Faculty of Law, and has volunteered for years with the Edmonton Community Legal Centre and the Parenting After Separation program. Frohlich sits on the Court of King's Bench Family Law Consulting Committee and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.
