About Wendy
Wendy Rollins graduated from the University of Alberta's law school in 1985 after living, travelling and studying both in Canada and abroad. She articled with a large Alberta firm, where she practised insurance, general litigation and family law before focusing exclusively on family law. Rollins co-founded Frohlich Rollins Schwab in 2003 with Gary and Krista Frohlich, and was appointed King's Counsel (formerly Queen's Counsel) in 2014. She's completed extensive training in mediation, interest-based negotiation and collaborative law, and has represented clients at all three levels of Alberta court when litigation is needed. Rollins has taught family law and Chambers Advocacy at the University of Alberta and through the Bar Admission course, and is a past chair of the Law Society of Alberta's Family Law Advisory Committee. She retired from the partnership at the end of 2020 but continues with the firm as Counsel, drafting agreements, mentoring junior lawyers and working as a mediator and arbitrator.
