About Jacalyn
Jacalyn Symonds grew up in a small town in Manitoba and lived in Honolulu, Hawaii before moving to Calgary for law school. She graduated with Distinction with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Hawaii, Manoa, and was admitted to the Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi honour societies. She graduated from the University of Calgary Law School and was called to the Law Society of Alberta bar in 2002. Her practice developed in residential and commercial real estate, condominium property law, and foreclosures, and she works closely with property management companies, realtors, and mortgage brokers.
