About Kirsten

Born in Germany, Kirsten Mehl is a natural advocate for those less equipped to advocate for themselves. She articled with the firm in 1987 and achieved partnership within 4.5 years, and with over 30 years of trial experience in British Columbia courts, her practice focuses on catastrophic personal injury, complex multi-party litigation, and insurance matters, with expertise spanning neurological injuries, occupier liability, medical malpractice, and professional negligence. As Managing Partner she mentors junior lawyers and sets the firm's strategic direction. She holds an LL.B. from the University of British Columbia (1987) and a B.A. from the University of Alberta (1982), and was called to the bar in 1988. She is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Canadian Bar Association.
