About Ian

Ian Campbell, a Nova Scotian by birth, articled with the firm during its Williamson and Thorne era, representing insureds and insurance companies. He was a founding member of Campbell Mitchell, which evolved into Campbell, Renaud Trial Lawyers, focusing on trial and appellate work. His practice covers personal injury, medical malpractice, estate, and commercial litigation before British Columbia's Supreme Court and Court of Appeal, and he has achieved favourable outcomes at mediation and arbitration. He holds an LL.B. from Dalhousie University (1974) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the same university (1971), and was called to the bar in 1975. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Vancouver Bar Association, the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia, and the Law Society of British Columbia.
