About Khaoula
Khaoula Bansaccal is cross-appointed to Osler's Insolvency and Restructuring and Disputes groups. Her practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation, with particular emphasis on insolvency and restructuring. Bansaccal has advised and represented debtors, creditors, court-appointed officers, and purchasers in proceedings under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Master's degree in International Business Law from the Université de Montréal, as well as a Bachelor of Laws and a Master's degree in Economic and Social Law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, and a Certificate in European Private Law from the University of Salzburg. During her studies at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, she took part in an exchange program at Kadir Has University's Faculty of Law in Istanbul. Before joining Osler, Bansaccal practised as an associate at another national business law firm.
