About Kevin
Kevin studied law at the University of Toronto and was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 1994 and the Bar of Manitoba in 1999. He founded Filkow Law after building an outstanding reputation across British Columbia, having earlier been trained and mentored by some of Canada's leading criminal and litigation lawyers and having acted as a Crown prosecutor. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Criminal Defence Advocacy Society, and the International Society for the Reform of Criminal Law, and he serves on the Board of Governors of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia. He has chaired several province-wide criminal law conferences covering topics including sexual and domestic assault cases, expert evidence, video testimony, and drinking-and-driving laws, and he has authored numerous articles on criminal law.
