Kent Howe is an intellectual property lawyer and patent agent whose practice focuses on IP strategy for high-growth Canadian technology companies, including patent and trademark drafting and prosecution and technology contracts. He works with clients in emerging fields such as AI, blockchain, clean technology, biotech, and medical devices. Before joining Own Innovation he was VP legal and director of intellectual property at a Canadian AI company, and he holds a Bachelor of Medical Sciences from Western and a Juris Doctor from Queen's University.
