About Kenneth
Ken Wace joined Smockum Zarnett LLP after being called to the bar in June 2015, having articled with the firm beforehand, and became a partner in 2022. Before becoming a lawyer, he spent a decade working as an Advanced Care Paramedic in the Greater Toronto area. Since then he has built a broad insurance defence practice, handling occupier's liability, municipal liability, and motor vehicle accident claims. Ken earned his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2014 and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from York University in 2010. He is an active member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Advocates' Society, the Toronto Lawyers' Association, and Canadian Defence Lawyers.
