About Kelsey
Kelsey earned her J.D., cum laude, at the University of Ottawa, where she served as Executive Editor of the Ottawa Law Review. She and a teammate won first place in a mediation competition focused on effective lawyer-client relations and teamwork. During law school she also interned at a criminal defence firm in Ottawa, worked with the university's Legal Writing Academy, and volunteered with its Social Justice Caucus. Before law school, she completed a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences, with distinction, majoring in International Development and Biology, at the University of Guelph. Kelsey grew up outside Dublin, Ontario, and belongs to the Criminal Lawyers' Association and The Advocates' Society. She also serves as Public Affairs Liaison for the OBA's Criminal Justice Section.
