About Carol
Carol Hansell is the Senior Partner of Hansell LLP, advising boards, management teams, institutional shareholders, and regulators on governance matters. She has served on the boards of the Bank of Canada, the Public Sector Pension Investment Board, and Michael Garron Hospital, among others, and is the author of Directors and Officers in Canada: Law and Practice and Corporate Governance for Directors. She holds an LL.B from Osgoode Hall, an M.A. from the University of Toronto, and an M.B.A from the Schulich School of Business, and is called to the bar in Ontario and admitted to the bar in New York.
