Administrative & Regulatory LawKelcie White is an Associate lawyer in Cox & Palmer's Halifax office, with a litigation practice focused on health law and medical defence, commercial litigation, and insurance defence, along with an interest in municipal law. She first joined the firm as a summer law student in 2016, articled with the firm, and was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2019, later completing a one-year judicial clerkship at the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal before returning to Cox & Palmer as an associate in 2020. Kelcie earned her law degree from the University of New Brunswick in 2018 with the highest level of distinction, receiving several course prizes and scholarships along the way. She manages a range of litigation matters including contractual disputes, professional liability claims, and challenges to government action, and has represented clients at many levels of court in Nova Scotia. Kelcie also acts as counsel to the Canadian Medical Protective Association and its member physicians in civil and regulatory matters.
