About Jamie

Jamie's practice is focused on business and tax law, including corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, business structuring, and trusts planning. She provides clients practical guidance on establishing businesses, corporate reorganizations, purchase and sale transactions, financing, tax and trust planning, and business succession planning. Jamie has experience negotiating and drafting corporate and commercial contracts and shareholder agreements, and regularly works with business owners, start-ups and private corporations. She co-founded Touchstone Legal with Jessica Lyle in 2019, is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society and the Canadian Bar Association, and was included in the 2021 edition of The Best Lawyers in Canada for Mergers & Acquisitions. Jamie has completed the CICA In-Depth Tax Course and volunteers on the boards of Ronald McDonald House Charities Atlantic and St. George's YouthNet Society.
