About Kayla

Kayla practises in SV Law's Civil Litigation group out of the Guelph office, handling commercial, construction, and estates disputes. She also represents healthcare and other regulated professionals in regulatory and civil proceedings. Before joining SV Law she articled and worked as an associate at a national full-service firm, advising on administrative and regulatory matters as well as sensitive public law issues. Kayla earned her J.D. from the University of Ottawa in 2021 and was called to the bar in 2022. As a student she worked as a caseworker for the Refugee Hub and competed in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot and the International Criminal Court Moot for the Americas, winning awards for advocacy.
