About Katie
Katie Morris is a lawyer with Bales Beall LLP who articled there from 2018 to 2019 before joining as an associate. She practises estate litigation and family law. Before joining Bales Beall, she gained experience at a boutique estate litigation firm. While in law school, she worked as a case worker and litigator with Community Legal Aid, offering services to low-income and vulnerable clients in the area. She was also active in the school's Women and the Law Chapter, chairing its Speakers Committee and later serving as Vice President of Operations. Katie was recognized in the 2025 edition of The Best Lawyers in Canada. She earned her J.D. from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law in 2018, was called to the Ontario bar in 2019, and belongs to the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association and Young Women in Law.
