About Kai

Kai founded Kai Deng Law Professional Corporation and practises real estate, business and corporate law, estate planning, and family law. He regularly helps individuals, families, investors, and business owners with real estate transactions, commercial leasing, business purchases and sales, franchise matters, and wills and powers of attorney. On the family law side he handles marriage contracts, cohabitation agreements, separation agreements, and both consent and contested proceedings. He articled with an Ottawa law firm in real estate and corporate law, and earlier worked as a policy analyst for the federal government. Before immigrating to Canada, Kai was an associate at Dentons in Nanning, China, and in-house counsel at China Mobile Telecommunications Corporation. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2014 and speaks English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
