About Hugh
Hugh Fisher's practice is focused on family law, covering support, property, and parenting disputes. He aims to resolve matters practically and with compassion, and has advocated for clients before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. Fisher holds a JD from Western University, where he made the Dean's List and won the Law Society of Ontario Prize as one of the top students in his class. He also received an award for best appellant factum at a 2019 moot competition and volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and Community Legal Services. Before attending law school, he completed a business degree at the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics, part of Wilfrid Laurier University. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2021 and has been named to Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Canada for his family law work. He belongs to the Ontario Bar Association and the Advocates Society.
