About Kathryn

Kathryn Manning is a founding partner of DMG Advocates with a broad civil litigation and arbitration practice, acting as both counsel and arbitrator in complex commercial disputes. Her experience includes shareholder and officer or director liability disputes, product liability litigation, civil fraud, employment litigation and class actions, along with cross-border matters such as enforcing foreign judgments in Canada. She has obtained and enforced Anton Piller and Mareva injunctions in fraud cases and has extensive motion and appellate experience. Kathryn also works as an arbitrator and mediator, holding a Q.Arb designation from the ADR Institute of Canada. She is the immediate past president of the Ontario Bar Association, having served as its president for the 2024-2025 term. She earned her LLB from Queen's University in 1996 and a BA from the University of Toronto in 1993, and was called to the Ontario bar in 1998.
