About Katarina

Katarina Wasielewski is an associate whose litigation work spans complex civil, corporate, securities, and other regulatory files, including investigations into fraud, governance failures, and workplace harassment across a range of industries. She has argued matters before all levels of court in Ontario as well as before arbitral tribunals. While earning her law degree she also completed a master's in economics, winning the Scarthingmoor MA Essay prize for a thesis on international trade economics, and she competed in several moots, taking best respondent factum at the Adam F. Fanaki Competition Law Moot. She interned with the Competition Bureau's Monopolistic Practices Directorate during law school. Before joining the firm, she worked as a litigation associate at the Toronto office of an international firm, handling commercial and civil litigation and advising on competition law and foreign investment matters. She was called to the bar in 2022 and holds degrees from the University of Alberta and Queen's University.
