About Kashmeel

Kashmeel McKöena is the managing partner and CEO of McKöena Law Professional Corporation in Ottawa. He served for several years as a military lawyer with the Office of the Judge Advocate General of the Canadian Armed Forces, retiring in 2012 to enter private practice with McKöena Professional Law Corporation. He holds a law degree from Queen's University, graduating with the class of 1998, and studied political science and mass communication at York University. Since retiring from the military he has focused much of his work on business management consulting for law firms, including advising cannabis-industry clients on business and regulatory matters through McKöena Cannabis Group.
