About Karen
Karen Vigmond is a partner at Oatley Vigmond who grew up in Barrie and joined the firm as an associate in 2013. She holds a BA from Queen's University and earned her Juris Doctor from Bond University in Australia, articling at a Toronto personal injury firm before her call to the bar in January 2013. Her practice centres on personal injury law with a particular focus on medical malpractice, alongside product liability, occupiers' liability, motor vehicle accidents and accident benefits claims. Clients value her warmth and sense of humour during difficult times. Karen is active in her community, having joined Spinal Cord Injury Ontario in 2013 and been appointed to its Board of Directors in 2021, and she volunteers with the Alzheimer's Society and Lawyers Feed the Hungry.
